Reading is one of the most fundamental skills a child needs to learn and develop to succeed in life.To inculcate reading habits, develop critical thinking skills and improving self-confidence among the students,English Department of St. Karen’s Collegiate School, Bihta, organized a Book Review Competition for the students of Std VIII and Std IX under English Fiction and Non-Fiction section. A total of 20 students participated in the event. The competition was judged by Mr. Thomas Mathew- Academic Coordinator and Ms. Angela Anthony- Coordinator. The event was also graced by the benign presence of Dr. Manisha Lall- Principal and Ms. Shefali Shrivastava- Academic Supervisor who, at the end of the event, shared their valuable feedback and applauded all the participants for their efforts. The event came to an end with the certificate distribution by Manisha ma’am and Shefali ma’am to the winners as well as participants.
