Math-a-thon, an energetic Inter-House Maths Competition for Classes 6 and 7 was held on 24th November.
Four mixed teams competed across three dynamic rounds designed to test mental agility, logical reasoning, geometry skills, and real-world mathematical application. Each round featured three fast-paced games, with points awarded for the top two positions.
In Round 1: Mental Math & Logic, students raced through 24 equations, solved Magic Square puzzles, and tackled a hands-on balloon-bursting challenge. Round 2: Geometry & Puzzles showcased creativity and spatial understanding through rangometry designs, 3D straw structures, and Tarsia matching puzzles. Round 3: Maths in the Real World brought concepts to life with lemonade-making using ratios, area and perimeter tasks using crackers, and an energetic Problem Hunt around the campus.
Math-a-thon proved to be an exciting platform that blended teamwork, strategy, and mathematical excellence, leaving students motivated and inspired.
